このサミットはシカ肉の地位向上を図ることを目的として発足しました。当日のメニューは、シカモモの丸焼きをはじめ、シカハンバーガー、ホットドッグ、シカ肉の赤ワイン煮、漬物カクテルなど。途中、シカモモ肉の解体ショーを行い参加者の方々は普段見ることのない骨から肉が外される瞬間を興味津々に見ていました。
この日は時折雨が降ったり夏の終わりを感じさせる肌寒さでしたが、みなさん食べて飲んで楽しんでいただけた様子でした。
最後に主催者である西興部村猟区管理協会から「シカ肉大好き宣言」があり、満場一致で可決され、第3回シカ肉サミットを閉会しました。

 3rd venison Summit it was held on August 22. This summit, we have established for the purpose of achieving the empowerment of venison, there was participation of 42 people from all over Japan. Menu of the day, including the deer thigh of roast, venison burgers, hot dogs, boiled red wine of venison, and Chinese-style stew of brown bear meat. Halfway, is performed dismantling demonstration of deer thigh meat, was watching people of participants that will not see usually, the moment when the meat is removed from the bone to the curious.

This day, or raining occasionally, it was the chill in the air to feel the end of the summer, but was the state in which can enjoy drinking eat everyone.

Finally, there is a "venison love declaration" from our association is an organizer, passed unanimously, we have closed the 3rd venison Summit.
